Every two months, Innovation Network will offer at least one live online training to LSC's TIG grantees. Summaries of upcoming courses and links to register will be available on this page. Unless otherwise stated, each training will be 90 minutes in length.

Introduction to Evaluation -- July 11, 2005 -- 2 pm EDT
The first training will be an Introduction to Evaluation, specifically recommended to the 2005 grantees and others that did not attend the Introduction we offered at this time last year, but is open to all grantees. The training will serve as an introduction of InnoNet, the services we are making available to you, and an overview of the evaluation plan that you must complete as part of your grant requirements. We will break down each component of the plan and provide tips and guidance on how to complete it.

Introduction to Data Collection -- July 20, 2005 -- 12 pm EDT
The second training, an Introduction to Data Collection, is recommended for all grantees, especially those who have completed their evaluation plans and are ready to start with the implementation phase. We will discuss each of the major data collection methods and their pros and cons, how to craft your questions, and common mistakes to avoid.
