Executive Summary: Resident Organizing Networks

Resident Organizing Networks (RONs) are organizing initiatives to center the wisdom of people with lived experiences of homelessness and housing insecurity in statewide advocacy and legislative processes. A learning team formed by Innovation Network, Clark University, and Grassroots Solutions partnered with Community Change’s Housing Justice Team and four RONs on a project to describe what this innovative model looks like and what it takes to build and sustain it. This executive summary offers top line-findings from the expanded report on the key approaches RONs use, and common lessons regarding what it takes to do this work well.
